Affordable Web Site Design
The Web Site Design process can be broken down into four phases:
- Needs Analysis - in depth analysis of your needs and expectations
- Site Development - designing the content and layout of the site
- Final Draft - site presentation, corrections and changes
- Website Launch - going live, search engine/directory submissions, tweaking
The initial consultation consists of a meeting between us, and all the principals involved in the web site project. As our first face to face meeting, we hope to get to know each other, and will put forth a series of questions designed to give us the best understanding of your organizations needs, and how you expect your website to fullfill those needs. This initial consultation is the Needs Analysis phase, and is free of charge.
Armed with a good idea of what you want, we will draft a proposal detailing the scope of the project, a proposed site, and the costs involved. At this point, after everyone is in agreement, we will require a 50% deposit to begin the project.
During the development phase, we will keep you up to date at prearranged milestones, giving you every opportunity to make sure the project is going the way you want it to. Changes and tweaks are easily done in this phase and you are encouraged to provide your input. We will host the site on our test domain and you will easily be able to follow the progress on the Internet, right up to the final draft.
Finaly, when all the changes and tweaks are done, we will launch your website on the host of your choice, finalize the site maps and navigation, and begin the submission process to the search engines and directories. At this time, the remainder of the fees are due. We will follow the sight for one month after launch, providing traffic and optimization reports until our prearranged obligations are filled. At this point, after all obligations by both parties are fullfilled, we will provide you with a zip file of your website.
